Want to learn all the ins-and-outs of the Blandford maple sugaring process but don’t have time to volunteer as a seasonal operator? Interested in starting your own sugarbush but need more information and experience first? Shadow the Blandford Sugarbush Master for an afternoon!
Tour the sugarbush - helping with sap collection, checking sugar content levels, and examining storage equipment. Then spend a few hours in the Sugarhouse, learning the art of maintaining a wood fire in the arch and the process for pulling a batch of syrup from the pan. Go home with new understanding, new skills, and a 16oz bottle of 2020 Blandford syrup that you helped create.
Don’t miss this one-of-kind opportunity to get “behind the fence” in the Blandford Sugarhouse!
