Join Blandford Nature Center's Environmental Educators as they lead a beginner birding hike around the park. While the program is aimed at folks who have done little to no birding before, we also welcome more experienced birders to join and share their excitement for this fun pastime! We'll start with some basic tips for bird identification as well as suggestions for books and phone apps that can used to assist you on your birding quests. Bring your own binoculars or feel free to borrow our easy-to-use, auto-focus binoculars. See how many birds you can find in your local park.
This is an adult program. If you have an older teen who wishes to attend, please email us at registrar@blandfordnaturecenter.org to see if we can accomodate them.
