Join us at Blandford Nature Center for an after hours, low stimulus evening designed specifically for families with children on the autism spectrum or having sensory processing needs. This program will include after-hours time in our wildlife center, a guided (or self guided) hike, socially distanced activities, and an animal presentation! Space is limited and pre-registration is required. This program is open house style. Please arrive at your convenience. We are proud to bring you this program in collaboration with Autism Support of Kent County.
*Due to this program having a higher participant capacity, it will be held outside to maintain social distancing guidelines. Alternate plans will be made if poor weather is expected or occurs.
**All program participants 5 years of age or older, with the ability to wear a face covering, must come equipped. All staff and participants 5 years of age or older, with the ability to wear a face covering, must wear one while in the buildings. Your program leader will communicate outdoor face covering expectations at the start of the program. Blandford is unable to provide face coverings to program participants.
