Homeschool field trips to Blandford Nature Center will immerse students in nature and are designed to help integrate Next Generation Science Standards while engaging students’ natural sense of inquiry. Each 90 minute program is offered from 1:30 to 3:00 pm, taught by our highly experienced staff and is geared toward children 5 to 10 years of age. (Students ages 11-13 are invited to attend our Middle Years program!) Students will be split into groups based on age so that program content is appropriate. All students will sign up via this link, then the group will be split into four, evenly sized, smaller groups based on age.

Monday, April 20, 2020: Signs of Spring
The changing seasons inspire sensory investigation and role-playing that will help students to answer the big questions of WHERE the animals live, WHY do they live there, and WHAT does it take for them to survive?
Monday, May 18, 2020: Focusing on the Farm 5
Investigate the Blandford Farm using your five senses! See plants growing, hear pollinators buzzing, smell nectar-rich flowers and get hands-on as your students experience a day in the life of a farmer.
This series has 3 programs each lasting 90 minutes long for a special flat fee of only $25.00! The deadline to register for this program package is March 13th. In addition to the deadline, there is a minimum requirement of 35 participants, so be sure to tell other homeschool families about this great educational experience!
