DESCRIPTION:Pre-registration is required to attend this program. Online registration closes at 12pm the day of the program, unless it is sold out first. If this program is sold out, please complete online registration to be added to the waitlist. You will not be charged to be added to the waitlist. We will contact you if spots become available. \n  \n  \n Further your herbal skills by learning how to make a salve. In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to make an infused oil and turn it into a salve with beeswax. Salves are a topical preparation that may be used for soothing bug bites, sore muscles, chapped skin or lips, or as a moisturizer. The herbs we use will depend on what is available at the time of the class, and you will take home your own 1 oz tin of herbal-infused salve. \n  \n  \n This program is for ages 9 and up. All registered children/youth between ages 9-17 must be accompanied by a registered adult. \n  \n  \n  \n Child registration - 9-12 years old \n  \n Teen registration - 13-17 years old \n  \n Adult registration - 18 years and older \n  \n  \n Price: \n  \n  \n Adult/Teen/Child Member: $24 \n  \n  \n Adult/Teen/Child Non-member: $30 \n  \n  \n Adult chaperone without materials: $5 (this option is for adults signing up with kids between the ages of 9-14, and does not wish to make their own salve, and will share materials with their kid) \n  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n Please Note: This program will take place indoors. We are no longer requiring masks for program participants, but you are welcome to wear one if you are more comfortable doing so.  \n  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n COVID-19 Information: As of January 1, 2023, face coverings are not required while participating in programs indoors or outdoors at Blandford. Blandford continues to monitor local COVID rates and reserves the right to reinstate masking requirements for staff, general visitors, and program participants of all ages, regardless of vaccination status, if community health concerns arise. Blandford will notify program participants if this policy changes before a scheduled program takes place. Participants should not attend a program if they show any signs of infectious illness, including cough, fever, headache, runny nose, vomiting or diarrhea. \n
