As the colder seasons of Michigan settle in, local predatory animals like coyotes and foxes become ever more desperate to find food. Farmers keep a watchful eye – doing their part to protect their livestock. Come to this special wildlife & farm partner program to learn about chickens and the predatory animals that hunt them. Meet one of our chickens, inspect a pelt, observe an owl, and find out more about the animal food chain.
This program will be held indoors for the safety and comfort of our animals. All participants will be required to wear masks indoors and groups will be socially distanced by family units.
*All programs will be limited to 10 participants for social distancing purposes. Any programs with higher capacities will be broken into smaller groups to maintain safety.
**All program participants 3 years of age or older must come equipped with a face covering. All staff and participants 3 years of age or older must wear face coverings during the entire duration of the program. Blandford is unable to provide face coverings to program participants.
