Have you ever wondered how a Blacksmith uses fire, metal, and a hammer to create a work of art? Come and learn from an experienced blacksmith a few tricks of the trade in this introductory class. Topics that will be covered include; forge safety, tools, fire building and maintaining, and an opportunity to work on a first project. No experience necessary! This program is for ages 18 . Blandford Nature Center will provide safety equipment including gloves, ear and eye protection.

Please note: This program will take place indoors. All participants will be required to wear masks and groups will be asked to socially distance as much as possible during programs.

*All programs will be limited to 10 participants for social distancing purposes. Any programs with higher capacities will be broken into smaller groups to maintain safety.

**All program participants 3 years of age or older must come equipped with a face covering. All staff and participants 3 years of age or older must wear face coverings during the entire duration of the program. Blandford is unable to provide face coverings to program participants.
