Nicole Klotz, owner and artist behind The Artifact House, will guide you through a botanical ceramic project. If the weather is nice we will take a walk around the nature trail and collect our natural materials, if not we will have materials collected ahead of time for you. Nicole will instruct you on using your natural materials as textures in creating a small ceramic tray or dish. Use leaves, twigs, flowers, and more to press into your clay and create a beautiful piece from scratch. There will be a variety of shapes and sizes to choose from the day of and you will get to choose your own color! Once your pieces are created Nicole will take them home to be fired, glazed, and fired again. This process can take 1-2 weeks and we will contact you when your beautiful botanical are ready for for pickup at Blandford Nature Center!

This program takes place indoors with a limit of 10 participants socially distanced by party.

*All programs will be limited to 10 participants for social distancing purposes. Any programs with higher capacities will be broken into smaller groups to maintain safety.

**All program participants 3 years of age or older must come equipped with a face covering. All staff and participants 3 years of age or older must wear face coverings during the entire duration of the program. Blandford is unable to provide face coverings to program participants.

This program is for participants 13 years of age and older. All participants must be registered.
