Learn about the treats that Blandford's animals enjoy and the senses that they use to find them. We will then use recycled materials to build different contraptions that the birds, mammals, and herps will test out at the end of the program. Blandford will provide the treats and recycled materials to pick from and you can bring recycled items from home to use or share, but please make sure they are clean.

Child: ages 3-17 years
2 and Under: Free (registration still required)
Member Adult/Child: $7
Non-Member Adult/Child: $10
An adult chaperone is required to register and attend this program.
This program is recommended for families with children ages 6+.
Please Note: This program will take place mainly outdoors, but will have an indoor portion for the safety and comfort of our animals. In the event of severe weather, the program will be canceled, and participants will be notified of their refund options. All participants will be required to wear masks and groups will be socially distanced by family units.
Covid-19 Information: In accordance with current CDC guidelines and State of Michigan COVID regulations, Blandford Nature Center requires all staff, visitors, and program participants ages 2 and up to wear masks while inside all buildings and for the duration of all programs both inside and outside, regardless of vaccination status. If you or someone you are registering for a program cannot medically tolerate a mask, you must contact our Program Manager prior to booking a program.
