Join us for a birding expedition at Blandford with binoculars and bingo sheets! We will outfit all participants with easy, auto-focus binoculars that will be your window into the wonderful world of birds. After a brief lesson on the basics, including some of the birds most commonly found at Blandford, we’ll set off to explore Blandford’s favorite birding spots.

 

Pricing 

Adult: ages 18 and up

Child: ages 3-17 years

2 and Under: Free (registration still required)

 

Adult/Child Member: $7

Adult/Child Non-Member: $10

2 and Under: Free

 

This program is recommended for families with children aged 5-12.

 

An adult chaperone is required to register and attend at this program.

 

Please Note: This program will take place outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, this program will be canceled, and participants will be notified of their refund options. All participants are required to wear masks for the duration of the program and will be expected to stay socially distanced as much as possible.

 

Covid-19 Information: 

As of AUGUST 23, 2021, in accordance with current CDC recommendations, Blandford Nature Center requires all staff, visitors, and program participants ages 2 and up to wear masks while inside all buildings regardless of vaccination status. Masks will also be required to be worn by all guests participating in a mixed age community program, where attendees are from multiple households, both inside and outside. If you or someone you are registering for a program cannot medically tolerate a mask, you must contact our Program Manager prior to booking a program. Cancellation Policy
Notice must be received at least 7 business days before the scheduled program to receive a 75% refund. There will be no refunds issued after that time. Due to processing fees, full refunds are not available. All Community Programs will be held unless there is severe weather. Please come prepared for the elements. All Community Programs will have a registrant minimum. If the minimum is not met, you will be contacted by Blandford Nature Center and notified of your refund options.
