Take an evening snowshoe hike on a lit trail with your family! Listen to the crunch of snow, maybe the hoot of owls, and the sweet whispers of the wind while you experience the magic of winter in Michigan. This self-guided hike is for all experience levels. After your hike, warm up by the firepit with a cup of hot cocoa.
*Please note: our smallest snowshoes are for children ages 6 and older or 40 pounds. Smaller children are welcome to attend in sleds or baby carriers, if desired.

Please Note: This program will take place outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, this program will be canceled and participants will be notified of their refund options. All participants are required to wear masks for the duration of the program and will be expected to stay socially distanced as much as possible.
COVID-19 Information: As of August 23, 2021, in accordance with guidance from the CDC and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Blandford Nature Center requires all staff, visitors, and program participants ages 2 and up to wear masks while inside all buildings, regardless of vaccination status. For this outdoor program, you may attend the program unmasked as long as you are socially distanced from others not in your group. To enter our building closest to the event for bathroom use, you must wear a mask. Alternatively, there is an exterior-entrance bathroom at the rear of the Visitor Center, a short distance from the event location, that you can use without a mask. If you or someone you are registering for a program cannot medically tolerate a mask, you must contact our Program Manager prior to booking a program to discuss your options.
