Goats and sheep and chickens, oh my! Join us for a unique, behind-the-scenes opportunity to help out at the Blandford Farm. Assist with livestock chores – feed and water the animals that call the farm home - and then help gather fresh eggs straight from the nest. If time allows, candle eggs and learn all about chicken development. All helpers take home a share of the eggs collected!
Notes: No need to plan ahead; just drop-in to participate. Check-in starts at the Blandford Farm 30 minutes before the listed start time. Look for the “Farm Programs” signs in the farmyard space between the large red animal barn and the barn playscape. The first 15 people to pre-register or check-in are guaranteed spots; more spots may be available on a first come first serve basis.
Member Caregiver or Child: $5
Non-Member Caregiver or Child: $8
2 and Under: Free (registration still required)
Each registered child is required to have a registered adult accompany them for this program.
Please note there are NO BATHROOMS AT THE FARM from September to March and only port-a-potties available from April to August. The nearest full-service bathrooms are at the Blandford Visitor Center, a 10-15 minute walk or 2 minute drive away.
