Join Dayna Walton of Solstice Handmade for this all-levels class to explore the basics of drawing with pen and ink! Beginners are welcome - there is no experience necessary. Experienced artists are sure to learn a different approach and some new tips. We will cover drawing techniques such as stroke, mark-making, and proportion techniques, and then apply them to create a mini 'field guide' to common poisonous plants. We will also chat about identifying characteristics and the anatomy of these plants, for safety's sake! All materials will be supplied, and participants will leave with 2 new artists pens to practice their new skills with!

Member Adult or Teen: $30
Non-Member Adult or Teen: $36

This program is for adults and teens, ages 13 and up. Teens must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Please Note: This program will be held entirely indoors.

Cancellation Policy
Notice must be received at least 7 business days before the scheduled program to receive a 75% refund. There will be no refunds issued after that time. Due to processing fees, full refunds are not available. All Community Programs will be held unless there is severe weather. Please come prepared for the elements - refunds are not available for weather related conditions except in the case of severe weather. All Community Programs will have a registrant minimum. If the minimum is not met, you will be contacted by Blandford Nature Center and notified of your refund options.
