Join our experienced blacksmith in the forge this holiday season to create an icicle or candy cane ornament! Participants will learn basic forge safety and metal smithing skills and be able to create from start to finish their own holiday ornament. No experience is required. This program is for ages 18+. Blandford Nature Center will provide safety equipment including gloves, ear and eye protection.

Please Note: This program will be held indoors. It is recommended to dress for the weather - our forge is inside an unheated, drafty building. Long shirts and pants and heavy duty, closed-toe shoes are also recommended for your safety. We suggest non-synthetic clothing for protection from sparks. If you do not have non-synthetic clothing, we can provide a leather apron. Please also bring a water bottle with you.
