Join us for a special Thursday evening in nature and experience the benefits of Shinrin-yoku, a relaxing Japanese wellness practice also known as "forest bathing." Led by ANFT Certified Forest Therapy Guide Katie Venechuk, this experience will start with a brief introduction to the research and science behind shinrin-yoku, how it differs from a hike in the forest, and why it's internationally recognized as an effective tool for natural stress release. We'll then transition into a guided shinrin-yoku experience in the autumn forest, where you'll be offered a series of forest bathing invitations to help you relax, awaken your senses, and notice new details in the transforming world around you. This event is not a hike and the total distance covered will be less than 1-mile. Event includes hot stone hand warmers and ends with wild foraged tea beneath the stars.
