Join Blandford and In Your Element Wellness for a special Earth Day program focused on relaxation and enjoying the peace of nature and beauty of our planet. Guided Shinrin-yoku ("forest bathing") is internationally recognized as an effective way to reduce stress and slow down, while helping us rediscover the wonders of the nature that lie outside our front doors. Led by ANFT Forest Therapy Guide, Katie Venechuk, this experience will start with a brief introduction to the background and research of Shinrin-yoku and how it differs from a hike in the forest. From there, you'll be guided in an evening of Shinrin-yoku, helping you relax, enjoy the woods and meadows of Blandford, and notice new details in the web of life around you. This event is not a hike and the total distance will be around one mile. Join us for this evening of nature and self-care, and in honor of Earth Day, enter coupon code EARTH2023 for 20% off registration, supported by generous grant funding.
