Is your child interested in the world of wildlife care? Or have they participated in one of our Wildlife Camps and loved it? Join our wildlife team for this new half-day Wildlife Care Apprenticeship program! Your child will spend the afternoon meeting the ambassadors, providing them with food and enrichment, and then heading outdoors for an adventure to look for wildlife on the Blandford property.

Similar to our Wildlife Camps, this program allows your child to get hands-on experience with wildlife. Each program features a different animal group of focus: Herptiles, Mammals, and Birds.

You have the option to sign your child up for one or multiple days of this program for their age group! Participants who sign up for one day of this program will receive a Blandford vintage vinyl logo sticker. Those who sign up for two or three days will receive a screen-printed Blandford shirt.

Child Members: $60/half-day
Child Non-members: $70/half-day

COVID-19 Information: As of January 1, 2023, face coverings are not required while participating in programs indoors or outdoors at Blandford. Blandford continues to monitor local COVID rates and reserves the right to reinstate masking requirements for staff, general visitors, and program participants of all ages, regardless of vaccination status, if community health concerns arise. Blandford will notify program participants if this policy changes before a scheduled program takes place. Participants should not attend a program if they show any signs of infectious illness, including cough, fever, headache, runny nose, vomiting or diarrhea.
