The environmental crises facing us can feel hopeless and overwhelming, but you have the power to make a big difference in your very local ecosystem that is your yard. Your outdoor space can be an oasis for native insects, birds, and herptiles when you choose to use native plants for landscaping. Join Julie Batty, Blandford’s Land Stewardship Manager to learn how native plants help local wildlife, which native plants can flourish in your space, where to find them, and how to care for them. Warning: a passion for native plants can lead to a beautiful garden, new friendships, and birdwatching!
