If you are a farmer, homesteader, or home gardener, and you are interested in learning more about how to utilize soil tests effectively, please join us at Blandford for this free of charge soil panel. Panelists will answer a series of questions based on their expertise about how to interpret soil tests, what numbers to keep an eye on, and what those numbers mean in practice. There will then be a Q&A, so please bring your soil test and any specific questions you may have about how your results could impact your crop management plan. This program will also have complimentary food catered from New City Neighbors!
Panelists:
Theo Medendorp; Agronomist at Morgan's Composting
Joel Betts; Kent County MAEAP Coordinator at Kent Conservation District
Christine Charles; Michigan State University Extension Educator, Field Crops and Regenerative Agriculture
This program is offered free of charge.
