Join our Land Stewardship Specialists for an evening of learning the calls of the different frogs who call Blandford their home. There will be a brief introduction to frog calls and habitats and will be followed by a hike to some of the vernal ponds and wetlands where we will most likely hear them! We will be collecting data throughout the evening hike on the app iNaturalist and will contribute to the John Ball Zoo: City Nature Challenge BioBlitz data collection. You may download this app to your phone prior to the event, but it is not required to attend the event. Instructions will be given at the beginning of the program on how to download and use iNaturalist for this special evening of data collection!
This program is one of the free programs we are offering this month in celebration of admission-free April, and there is no extra charge to participate.

This program is recommended for ages 12 and up. All children must be registered with a registered adult.
Please Note: This program will take place indoors and outdoors. In the event of severe weather, the program will be canceled and participants will be notified.

Cancellation Policy: Notices received at least 7 days before the scheduled program are eligible to receive a 50% refund. Due to processing fees, full refunds are not available. Cancellations within 7 days of a program are not eligible for a refund. Please come prepared for the elements as refunds are not available for weather-related conditions except in the case of severe weather. If Blandford cancels a program due to severe weather, you will have two options: transfer your registration to the reschedule date or donate your registration fee. In the event we are unable to reschedule the program, full refunds will be available. All community programs will have a registrant minimum. If the minimum is not met, you will be contacted by Blandford Nature Center and notified of your refund options.
