The Blandford Nature Center Camp Aide program is an opportunity for teens ages 13-18 to volunteer for 1-4 weeks during the summer.

• Spend your summer outdoors!

• Share your love of the environment with campers ages 4-12!

• Learn exciting leadership skills!

• Earn community service hours - up to 40 a week!

When we select Camp Aides we look for teens who will work to achieve our program goals:

• Teens who want the opportunity to positively impact the lives of children
• Teens who want to be a part of a team and learn leadership skills
• Teens who will serve a critical role in creating an atmosphere that is fun, safe, and welcoming

Whether you're a new camp aide or a seasoned veteran, one of the first steps in becoming a 2024 Camp Aide, is completing this online form.

Camp Aide Forms are requested by Friday, May 3rd.

Everyone submitting by May 3rd will receive information and camp assignments on Friday, May 13th. Applications received after May 3rd will be considered on a rolling basis. 

Special Note to Guardians: the Camp Aide applicant should be the one to fill out the application, but we would love for you to offer edits or advise on the application for them. As your teen steps into this leadership opportunity, we ask that you give them a chance to lead!

SENIOR CAMP AIDE INTERNSHIP

If you have volunteered as a camp aide before and are 16 years of age or older, you can apply to be a Senior Camp Aide Intern! Senior Camp Aides will run with, play with, teach, hike with, and help supervise 10 campers alongside a Camp Educator each week throughout the summer. They assist in caring for camper happiness, health, and safety for 9 weeks Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm (hours negotiable) June 10th-August 18th with mandatory training occurring June 5th-9th. This internship is 30-40 hours per week and will be paid a total stipend of $2,500.
